The Hokkaido region is known for its milder climate in summer and colder-snowy climate in winter than other parts of Japan. Unlike the other 3 major islands of Japan, Hokkaido is less likely affected by the June-July rainy season. Its “exceptionally-not-too-hot-and-humid climate” in summertime makes Hokkaido attractive for tourists from all over the world. - Conference language and dress code:
- The conference language is English. The dress code for the conference is not so strict and the followings are widely acceptable: formal, semi-formal, business casual and smart casual. But remember. At banquet (using a tabletop grill), we recommend you wear washable, casual clothes when possible: strong smoky smell will probably get stuck in your clothes.Be careful!
